In My Mailbox (18) -Julie

In My Mailbox is a meme started by The Story Siren and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie.

A slow week this week. And though my TBR pile is pretty big, nothing is calling to me. Major disappointment. But May is a busy month book wise, so I'll deal. Hopefully, there will be a bookstore trip next weekend and at least one thing is coming it the mail.

Tallulah Falls
Christine Fletcher

When Tallulah Addy sets out on an impulsive cross-country trip to rescue her best friend, she doesn't anticipate getting stranded in rural Tennessee without a dime. Nor does she guess that rescuing a dog will land her a job in the local veterinarian’s office. But there, under the wary eye of ornery Dr. Poteet, Tallulah works harder than ever before, tending to animals of all shapes and sizes—and unexpectedly, to wounds long-buried in herself. Tallulah swears she'll leave the first chance she gets, yet when given the choice, it may prove harder to keep the promise to her friend than to say good-bye to the strangers who have become her new family.

I actually got this last Saturday, but I was away so I didn't actually open it until late Sunday night. But I already finished it and loved it! And I got this from amazon after getting some gift cards from swagbucks.

Gimme A Call
Sarah Mlynowski

A new life is just a phone call away!

Devi's life isn't turning out at all like she wanted. She wasted the past three y
ears going out with Bryan—cute, adorable, break-your-heart Bryan. Devi let her friendships fade, blew off studying, didn't join any clubs . . . and now that Bryan has broken up with her, she has nothing left.

Not even her stupid cell phone—she dropped it in the mall fountain. Now it only calls one number . . . hers. At age fourteen, three years ago!

Once Devi gets over the shock—and convinces her younger self that she isn't some wacko—she realizes that she's been given an awesome gift. She can tell herself all the right things to do . . . because she's already done all the wrong ones! Who better to take advice from than your future self?

Except . . .what if getting what you
think you want changes everything?

Fans of Sarah Mlynowski's Magic in Manhattan series will love this hilarious new novel with a high-concept premise .

I entered a contest on Random Buzzers ages ago and ended up being one of the 50 winners to get Gimme a Call, which was definitely a shock! Right now I'm rereading Blood Promise, then I wanna read an ARC I have for June, then I'll probably read this...depending on what books I get between now and then!

And that's it. I already know one book should be coming next week and again, I'm hoping for a bookstore trip Friday or Saturday!

What exciting things are in your mailbox?
