JulNoWriMo

Wait, what? JulNoWriMo?

Yes, dear readers, JulNoWriMo.

Lanna and I both participated in this last year, and since it seems a lot of bloggers/blog readers are also writers, the word should be spread.

JulNoWriMo is July Novel Writing Month. It's not official, like NaNoWriMo(National Novel Writing Month in November) but it's still a good push, in a much more laid back month with an extra day.

During JulNo the goals are also a bit different. For NaNoWriMo you have to write 50,000 words of a brand new novel that you've never worked on before. During July, however, you can pick a project you've started or played with. While they strongly suggest writing all 50,000 words, you can still set a goal for yourself for more words or less words. Last year, I think some people managed to write 200,000 words!

If interested, Lanna and I usually make a chatzy and we did put together a blog full of links if anybody wants that. And to officially join JulNoWriMo, just click here. You guys have a month to brainstorm. Good luck for all those interested!

  2. In another website, it isn't offical on NaNo's website, its SuNoWriMo. Writing a novel for the whole entire summer. Starts tomorrow. Also my word verification is story, that really doesn't mean anything though. o3o Still I'm doing JuNoWriMo in a form of SuNoWriMo
