World, meet Mount TBR...

You know you buy too many books, too quickly, when your to be read pile reaches this size:

...But wait, there's more (it's blurry so it's kinda difficult to make out what all the books are - I have read two of the books in this pile though, Paper Towns and Shade):

...Um *hangs head in shame* there's still more (first one is blurry so the three pictures below are the invididual stacks):

Now... I'm 5ft2. If I stack the piles as tall as I can get them, they kind of add up to more than double my height. O.o

Please, someone tell me their to be read pile is bigger than mine so I can feel less failsome? =P

Later.

  6. That's pretty impressive. Staggering, even. DON'T pile them up too high -- if they tip over, you're done for! How much do you think they weigh??

  7. Don't worry, my TBR pile is a bit bigger than yours. Though, it's good to know that I'm not the only crazy book buying person out there. =P

  8. Mine's 69 inches stacked in one big pile. That's 5 feet, seven and a half inches, about 4 inches taller than me. I think yours might be taller, though.

I don't know whether to be impressed or horrified... I think the former is winning though. =P

  12. Um, if I tried to do a post like this, it would involve taking pictures of the contents of 15 boxes and 3 bookshelves. Not gonna happen.

Yours is tame compared to mine... lots of nice books though! I always love pictures containing lots of books.. :)

  19. I'm not sure how tall my TBR pile stands but you and I have the same syndrome: buy-faster-than-we-can-read-itis! I won't stop though, i love the feel of a new book too much!

  24. Aww! I LOVE seeing people TBR piles, it always makes me feel a little bit better. Mine's at about 150 books, but I always feel bad because some of the unread books I brought with me when I moved here from America .. 10 years ago!
